Party Goer

Ready to party? Here are some tips to ensure a fun and safe night out!

Pre-Party:
  • Make sure to eat a full meal and drink water
  • Set a drinking limit for the night
  • Plan ahead to ensure you have a safe ride home (if necessary)

At the Party:
  • Pace yourself while drinking, and make sure to alternate between alcoholic beverages and water to avoid a hangover
  • Try to stick to drinking only one type of alcohol
  • Avoid drinking pre-made drinks like jungle juice - it's hard to gauge how much alcohol has been mixed into these drinks, so you won't really know how much you've had
  • Always keep an eye on your drink and your friends
  • Always respect people's decisions if they choose not to drink

Post-Party:
  • Make sure you have a safe way to get back home
  • Leave the party with the people you arrived with
  • Drink water to reduce your chances of getting a hangover
