- Alcohol – Under 21 Years Old
- Cannot posses or be in the presence of any alcoholic beverages, even if other students are consuming it and you are not
- If suspected of violating this rule, students will be given a warning (first time offense) and be required to take and Alcohol and Drug class, such as CASE.
- Ways you may suspected of violating this:
- Smell of alcohol
- Disruptive behavior
- Excessively loud music
- Information brought to your RA or RD
- Ways you may suspected of violating this:
- Hospitalizations
- If the consumption of alcohol or other drugs causes an emergency medical call, the student will be given a warning (first time offense) and be required to take an Alcohol and Drug class, such as CASE.
- Alcohol – 21+ Years Old
- Residents are prohibited from consuming alcohol in public with students who are under 21 years old
- Residents can drink alcohol in the privacy of their own room and must not be able to be seen from by the public.
- Alcohol In Large Quantities
- Residents, regardless of age, cannot store large quantities of alcohol that would be deemed excessive for personal use
- Indications include:
- Empty or full kegs
- Beer bongs
- Residents can be kicked out of the dorms for violating this policy
- Under The Influence
- Residents are not allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs in the residence halls
- If residents cannot exercise care for themselves or others, they can be written up
- Consequence is a warning and a mandatory Alcohol and Drug Class, like CASE.
- Residents are not allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs in the residence halls
- Other Drugs
- Residents cannot possess, sell or be in the presence of illegal drugs or prescription drugs not prescribed to that resident.
- If suspected of violating this rule, students will be given a warning (first time offense) and be required to take an Alcohol and Drug class, such as CASE.
